SENIOR MECHANICAL DESIGNER

Mechanical designer with experience in the automatic packaging machinery sector.

Mechanical designer with experience in the automatic packaging machinery sector.
The candidate must meet the following requirements:

 

  • Conoscenza della progettazione meccanica in 2D/3D
  • Knowledge of 2D/3D mechanical design techniques
  • Willingness to work away from home for short periods;
  • Precision and analytical capacity;
  • Aptitude for team work;
  • Ability to listen.

 

Academic and linguistic qualifications:

  • Degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent, qualified mechanical technician (if coupled with consolidated experience in the sector)
  • Knowledge of English preferred;

 

Salary in line with the successful candidate’s level of experience and skills and capabilities.

Preference will be given to candidates with prior experience in the packaging sector.

CNC OPERATOR

Personnel qualified to operate computerised numerical control machine tools, lathes, milling machines, machining centres, welding equipment and cutting machines.

Personnel qualified to operate computerised numerical control machine tools, lathes, milling machines, machining centres, welding equipment and cutting machines. Candidates must be able to read and interpret technical drawings, and:

 

  • Program the machinery
  • Initiate production cycles, defining the reference points and introducing the starting materials
  • Verify that the production conforms to the project
  • Modify the program, replace the material and check that the shape and dimensions of work-pieces comply with the requested parameters
  • Eliminate production waste and finish the work-piece
  • Report any malfunctions to their supervisor
  • Carry out minor maintenance operations on the tools, such as cleaning and lubricating gears
  • A good working knowledge of computing tools and devices, common software applications (Office, Excel) and e-mail systems is required.
  • Aptitude for teamwork.

 

Candidates must also be prepared to accept shift working (morning, afternoon, night).

 

 

Academic qualifications:
Technical and professional secondary school diploma
